Dos & Don’ts
DO call, email, text or use our online booking service to book an appointment. We recommend you book at least a few days in advance.
DO expect an email a day before your appointment to confirm. Please respond or we may give someone else the spot.
DO expect to pay on arrival for treatments above QR 500.
DO expect to pay on the same day as your treatment. We accept cash, debit and credit cards (except American Express) and Embellie vouchers. We do not accept cheques or give credit.
DO tell us ahead of time if you need to go for prayer during your treatment.
DO tell us if you plan to bring a child or children. We may turn you away if you don’t give us advance warning.
DON’T be upset if we cannot fit you in on the same day you call or walk in. It’s best to call ahead and book a few days in advance.
DON’T ask us to give you a discount [Unless you work for Qatar Airways, Al Jazeera Television or our other corporate partners]. Our prices are non-negotiable. By asking us to reduce our prices, you are also asking us to reduce our quality and we simply can’t do that.
DON’T ask us for the nationalities or ethnicities of our staff. Our therapists are all well trained and we will assign you the best person for the job. Our decisions are based on skills, not nationalities.
DO speak to the manager or supervisor on shift if you are unhappy.
DO tell us before your appointment if you would like to add or change services. Our therapists each have their specialties and we may not be able to accommodate last minute changes.
DO expect a free 15-minute consultation on your first visit or if you are changing your style. Please note that the price of your treatment (quoted on the phone or online) may be altered after your consultation.
DO bring a photo or photos of the hairstyle or colour you are after. DO be clear about what you want. Our stylists will listen and do their best to give you what you came for.
DO expect to read and sign our advice forms, as well as have a patch or strand test before we perform a treatment on you for the very first time. We take your health very seriously.
DO understand that we don’t all speak the same beauty language. Your ‘perming’ may be our ‘relaxer’, your ‘hair trim’ may be our ‘ hair shape’ and your ‘Brazilian Bikini may be our ‘Hollywood Bikini’. So if you’ve unknowingly booked for the wrong treatment, we may have to reschedule if we cannot give you want right there and then. To be safe, read the descriptions on our menu.
DO express any concerns or complaints to a manager or by using our contact form on this website.
DON’T be rude to our therapists or managers. Our staff receives regular training and can competently perform their jobs.
DON’T be offended if our therapists only speak to you in English. They are not allowed to speak to clients or each other in their own languages, except if a client is unable to communicate in English.
DON’T shout or play loud music. We have a very relaxing atmosphere and would like to keep it like that.
Please DON’T be late. When you book an appointment, we reserve that time just for you, we plan and prepare just for you. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may reduce or refuse your treatments otherwise you’ll eat into someone else’s time.
DO call us at least 24 hours before your treatment if you need to reschedule or cancel - or you face a 25% cancellation charge.
DO expect a 25% cancellation charge if you fail to show up for your appointment without telling us 24 hours before.
DO expect to lose your client privileges if you do not show for your appointment on more than one occasion. This means we can give your space to someone else or refuse you altogether.
DO speak up if you are not happy with the way a treatment is going or something the therapist is doing. We are happy to take instruction.
DON’T shout or play loud music. We have a very relaxing atmosphere and would like to keep it that way.
DO ask us for our wi-fi code and for drinks. We have a variety of complimentary drinks and snacks for you.
DON’T ask us to sew your weave or braid your hair tightly. We won’t do it! Why? Because it will break your hair.
DO expect your taxi driver to speak bad English and not know his way around town. This is the way it is in Doha, as frustrating as it can be. So please use google maps or book with UBER.
DO plan to arrive early so you can find us and find parking. We have just one allocated parking space so either call us ahead of time to ask if it’s free or park in one of the spaces across the road.
DON’T park on the pavement | sidewalk or you could face a fine. (Also not our fault).
